Bill Oldsey #36    Together WE CAN make an impact   Together WE WILL do great things   Together WE ARE Penn State   Let's Restore the ROAR!  Love and Loyalty    My parents were Penn Staters    My father came from Wilkes-Barre on an athletic scholarship in 1942. He was the first in his family to attend college and he stayed to earn a Ph.D. and to teach American Literature for more than 20 years.   My sister and I grew up in State College and we both graduated from Penn State. My wife, Julie, and I have a home in Boalsburg and two of our sons are Penn State alumni.   Penn State's traditions are my traditions. Success with Honor is more than a slogan -- it's a pledge, a responsibility, and a way of life.   For me, Joe Paterno, has been and always will be a mentor, a role model, and a hero.
