Arab Spring is Not Over

A boy born in a political prison in Syria sees the outside world for the first time as Assad's brutal regime falls. Today is a rebirth for him and the whole nation. Syrians like me who fought hard for democracy now need the world to unite on their side to make the Arab Spring finally blossom. Let's amplify Syrian voices to make sure they are at the center of world leaders' ongoing political debates! Born in a cell, this three-year-old has never been to a park or played with friends. His childhood was stolen by Assad, just like the Syrian people's -- my people's -- freedom, dreams and even lives.Today - 14 years after we first rose up against Assad's brutal oppression - I and my fellow citizens celebrate the end of the regime, freeing many who were locked in dark cells for wanting democracy. The world now has a once-in-decades opportunity to help Syrians restore what we sacrificed so immensely for - peace and democracy. World leaders are weighing their next steps. Sign now and we'll make sure they hear directly from Syrian voices calling for urgent support for a path to democracy in Syria!
