Immigrants in Germany are scared right now.

The country's second-most popular party was caught mapping out a "master plan" for mass deportations -- targeting millions of immigrants, including citizens!

And it's not just Germany -- the far right is surging across Europe. In Italy, the government is waging war on same-sex couples. The front-runner in France wants to discriminate against foreigners seeking jobs and homes.

The EU elections are in just 2 months, and far-right parties are close to winning -- spewing hateful rhetoric to distract from real crises like the cost of living and climate.

Now we're fighting back.

For months, Avaaz has been planning a massive citizens' response to counter the far right's surge and defend democracy. This is the #1 issue Avaaz members want to prioritise this year -- and we're ready to launch!

We know we can do this. In Brazil, we helped drive turnout in an election that saw Bolsonaro defeated by a razor's edge. In Spain's election last year, the extremist party Vox was so worried about our work they took us to court to get our ads taken down.

But we have to be bigger, louder, and more powerful than ever before. If enough of us chip in, we could:

Launch a massive citizens resistance to stop a far-right takeover of the European Union;
Hire top-notch investigators to expose the far right's dangerous plotting against women, immigrants, and our climate;
Run massive attention grabbing actions in countries like Germany and France to derail the rise of the far right;
Recruit and deploy political strategists and communication experts to drive massive turnout in key elections; and
Build alliances with influencers and grassroots groups to mobilise people-power like never before.

The results of elections this year will define our futures for decades to come. Historians will look back at this moment as a turning point -- either towards democracy or away from it.
