The military courts, which will be in charge of administering this new law and deciding who is branded as a terrorist, currently have a conviction rate of 96% for Palestinian defendants. A terrifying number when the punishment is death with no pardon. Meanwhile, if an Israeli settler kills a Palestinian, they benefit from near-total impunity.  No state should ever have the power to take a life - but in the instance of a justice system rigged with bias and discrimination against Palestinians, in what Amnesty has called an ongoing genocide, we must do everything in our power to stop it. 31 civil society groups and the Prime Minister of Spain have already come out calling on the EU to suspend the EU trade agreement with Israel.
